We started Prepfect with a simple question:

“If we care so much about what we eat, why don’t we care about what we prepare it on?”

Digging deeper, we found something even more concerning.

Numerous studies over the last few decades have revealed a significant decline in average male testosterone levels—some suggesting as much as a 50% drop since the 1970s. Many scientists point to endocrine-disrupting chemicals—found in plastics and food packaging—as likely contributors to this hormonal crash.

We couldn’t ignore it. And we didn’t want to contribute to it.
